Rumors Indicate That the iPhone 17 Pro Will Have the Most Altered Look in Years, with a New Camera Module and a Significantly More Powerful MagSafe System.

According to analyst Jeff Pu from GF Securities, whose information was echoed by technology portals like TudoCelular, Apple is preparing a significant transformation for its smartphone line expected in 2025. The iPhone 17 Pro Leaks with a Renewed Design and Different MagSafe, breaking the visual standard established in recent generations and promising key updates in crucial components.

The information suggests that Apple is working on a thinner chassis with a new arrangement of elements. In addition to the look, an important update in the wireless charging ecosystem is expected, with the possibility of a charger with power up to 45W, and internal improvements such as an increase in RAM and a new sensor for the front camera.

A Completely New Design for the iPhone 17 Pro

The most impactful change in the iPhone 17 Pro Leaks with a Renewed Design and Different MagSafe is expected to be its rear camera module. Leaked renderings and schematics indicate a horizontal module that occupies nearly the entire upper width of the device, a style reminiscent of Google’s Pixel line. This change would necessitate repositioning the Apple logo to a more central and lower area of the device.

Furthermore, there is talk of introducing a new model in the family, the “iPhone 17 Slim”, which, as the name suggests, would be even thinner than the others. There are also speculations about a possible change in construction materials. According to analyst Jeff Pu, the Pro models could abandon titanium and return to an aluminum finish.

More Powerful MagSafe: The Promise of Faster Charging

The Apple magnetic accessory ecosystem is also expected to evolve. Leaks point to a new MagSafe charger with 45W power, a considerable leap from the current 15W. This innovation would be possible due to the implementation of the new Qi 2.2 standard, which would allow for much faster and more efficient wireless charging.

The main question among experts is whether this new technology will maintain compatibility with MagSafe accessories from previous generations. The expectation is that Apple will offer a smooth transition, ensuring that the ecosystem remains a strong and attractive point for users.

24 MP Front Camera and More RAM

The innovations are not expected to stop at the external design. Rumors indicate that the entire iPhone 17 line will receive a 24-megapixel front camera, double the resolution found in current models. For the Pro versions, a 48-megapixel telephoto lens is also expected.

Internally, performance is also expected to be enhanced. Jeff Pu claims that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models will feature 12 GB of RAM, an increase from the current 8 GB, which would allow for an even smoother performance in heavy tasks and in the use of artificial intelligence. The brain of the devices will be the new A19 Pro chip.

What Analysts Are Saying About the iPhone 17 Line

Market analysts, such as Jeff Pu, are the main source for these leaks and predictions. Although Apple traditionally does not comment on rumors, the history of these analysts lends a good degree of credibility to the information. Predictions indicate that Apple is focusing on rejuvenating the design of its devices, possibly to encourage a new cycle of upgrades from consumers.

Still, it is essential to treat all this information as rumors. Apple works with various prototypes, and the final specifications are only defined months before the official launch, which, following the company’s calendar, is expected to take place in September 2025.
