Its cylinder heads, for example, are more geared towards fuel economy than absolute performance, limiting the tuning potential in naturally aspirated configurations. The aftermarket community is still racing to find more affordable and efficient solutions for upgrades to this engine.

Só usando para saber. Minha experiência com V8 se limita a um Ford 302 e um Dodge 318 foram os V8 que tive oportunidade de possuir por um bom período. São V8 de origem americana com bloco e cabeçote de ferro ,bem longevos e nem longe oferecem a potência do V8 da Toyota.
