Ocyan, a company in the oil and gas sector, opens applications for the Trainee Program 2022 until June 7. A total of eleven positions are available for candidates with and without experience who have graduated in Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, Economics, and International Relations, as well as the Engineering fields: Automation, Civil, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Naval, Chemical, Petroleum, and Production. Coincidence or not, another contract has been won by Ocyan this year! This time, for the provision of construction, assembly, and maintenance services of replicant FPSOs P-66, P-67, P-68, P-69, and P-70 for Petrobras. The contract term is four years, with the possibility of extension for two more. This new project will contribute to doubling the company’s offshore maintenance and services business and reestablishing its leadership position in this segment in the Brazilian market.

Among the main activities outlined in this contract are maintenance and repair services for the units, including, but not limited to, the planning and execution of boiler services, welding, painting, electrical, and instrumentation services, equipment maintenance, among others.

The five replicant FPSOs operate in the Tupi, Berbigão, and Atapu fields. The units have the capacity to individually produce 150,000 bpd and compress 6 million m³/day of gas.

The opportunities are for professionals with up to three years of experience for onshore work (at the company’s office in Rio de Janeiro and its base in Macaé (RJ)) and offshore (embarked at sea). “The Trainee program will take place over two years, consisting of two phases: the first aimed at external candidates and the second, incorporating talents mapped internally, with the aim of accelerating the cultural integration of external Trainees and boosting the careers of internal talents,” comments Nir Lander, Vice President of People and Management at Ocyan.

The selection process will be conducted with the support of a specialized consulting firm, including resume screening, Cultural Fit and English tests, a corporate game focused on problem-solving, in addition to interviews.

The program structure, which starts in July, has been designed to take place over two years, where the Trainee will have accelerated development, with the first year focused on culture integration, knowledge of the corporate structure and institutional programs, plus experience in the businesses in which they operate, through workshops, interaction with the company’s key executives, and personalized job rotation.
