Attention offshore professionals from Macaé and nearby regions, many job openings are coming soon! Engeman has emerged as the winner in another bidding promoted by Petrobras, where it will be responsible for the general maintenance of the cranes on Platforms P-57 and P-58.

Get to Know Petrobras’ Oil Platforms

The maximum operational capacity installed on the FPSO P-57 is 180 thousand bpd and 2 million m3 of gas. Its production occurs at a water depth of approximately 1260 meters and began in 2010.

The P-58 is an integral part of the North Project of Parque das Baleias, which includes the production of the fields of Baleia Franca, Cachalote, Jubarte, Baleia Azul, and Baleia Anã.

The P-58 is located about 85 km off the coast of Espírito Santo, in waters with a depth of 1,400 meters. In the coming months, it will be connected to 15 producing wells, of which eight are from the pre-salt and seven from the post-salt, and 9 injecting wells, through 250 km of flexible pipes and two subsea manifolds (equipment that transfers oil from the wells to the platform).

500 Job Openings in Macaé for Offshore Maintenance Opened Yesterday (22/06) by Ocyan to Start Working in July on Petrobras Contracts in the Merluza and Mexilhão Fields

With the growing demand in the oil and gas sector, Ocyan opens 500 job openings for hiring in the Maintenance and Offshore Services area. All positions are for offshore work. Two hundred positions are set to start from July and another 300 from August onward. Interested parties should visit the Our People page on the company’s website and register by July 9.

“With the acquisition of a new contract at the beginning of this year for work in the Merluza and Mexilhão fields, some opportunities were opened at Ocyan. We are in a positive moment for the sector and will need qualified labor for the projects we will execute,” explains Ocyan’s Director of Maintenance and Offshore Services, Vinicius Castilho.
