Oil States Closed a Contract with Petrobras to Inspect and Perform Maintenance Offshore on 5 FPSOs. The Company Already Serves 13 Vessels in Brazil and to Meet the New Demand Opened New Job Vacancies in Macaé.
This week, Oil States Brasil announced that it closed a new essential contract with Petrobras. According to the new contract, the company will carry out the planning, inspection, and offshore maintenance on cranes of five Petrobras FPSOs. The new contract between Oil States and the state company will last three years and is already generating job opportunities in the Macaé region.

In a statement posted on the LinkedIn social network, Oil States stated that its extensive knowledge of the market, combined with experience in the production of winches and cranes, along with a proprietary regulatory library, allows Oil States to perform the contract with Petrobras for the FPSOs safely and efficiently.

The offshore services company also noted that it has a similar scope contract, serving 13 FPSOs in the Brazilian market, in addition to the 5 Petrobras FPSOs, shaping the market expansion strategy of this business line.
Recently, the company also finalized a maintenance and inspection service contract for 12 cranes from an offshore drilling rig, belonging to a drilling sector group in the country.

Electrician
Requirements: Technical background in electrical engineering, experience with electronic control systems for cranes, inspections, and interventions in electronic control systems.
Climbing Mechanic N3, N1.
Requirements: Technical training in mechanics or related fields, experience with hoisting equipment and engine maintenance.
Offshore Planner
Requirements: Must have availability for travel and experience in planning maintenance and inspection of offshore equipment.
In addition to these vacancies, the company is also making internship positions available for safety technicians in Macaé. It is only necessary to be enrolled and attending the course and have availability to work from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
