Macaé continues to be a reference in professional training for the oil and gas industry. OneSubsea, in partnership with Firjan SENAI SESI de Macaé, announced the opening of registrations for the second edition of the Women On Board Program. The project aims to promote the inclusion of women in the offshore industry through free and specialized training.
Who Can Participate in the Women On Board Program?
OneSubsea reaffirms its commitment to gender equality by funding this initiative together with Firjan SENAI SESI de Macaé.
The Women On Board Program offers 22 spots for graduates or those finishing courses in automation, electromechanics, electrical engineering, or mechanics, provided they are over 18 years old.

Over four months, the selected participants will undergo an intensive in-person training at the SENAI unit in Macaé.
With 160 hours of technical training and 40 hours of mentoring, the Women On Board Program provides an immersion in the oil and gas industry.
The content covers topics such as drilling and well completion, industrial maintenance, quality, safety, and an introduction to renewable energy systems.
OneSubsea also promotes workshops to raise awareness among its leadership about the importance of diversity in the sector.
Benefits Offered by OneSubsea
Firjan SENAI SESI de Macaé ensures the necessary structure for this innovative training. Participants will have access to technical English classes, psychological support, and a cost assistance of R$ 25 per day.
For Andreia Maciel, the HR manager at OneSubsea in Brazil, the Women On Board Program represents an important step towards reducing gender inequality in the offshore industry.
“This is a concrete action by OneSubsea to broaden job opportunities for women in the sector,” she stated.

Registrations for the Women On Board Program can be made until April 11.
The selection will prioritize women in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability and does not require prior experience.
