Senai, in Partnership with the Federal Government, Launches 200K Free Positions in Professional Qualification Courses. Want to Boost Your Career and Secure a Job? This Could Be Your Chance! Various Areas Covered, Including Technology, Construction, and Automotive.

The Federal Government, in partnership with the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and the National Service of Industrial Learning (Senai), recently established a partnership aimed at offering 200,000 free positions in professional qualification courses.

This initiative, formalized through a Technical Cooperation Agreement (ACT) signed on December 18, aims to tackle the growing shortage of skilled labor in the country and promote social inclusion through vocational education.

The agreement, effective until 2027, covers a wide range of sectors, including food and beverages, automation and mechatronics, automotive, civil construction, electronics, energy, management, logistics, information technology, among others.

The courses, with a minimum workload of 160 hours, will be offered by Senai, recognized for its excellence in vocational education.

Sectors Covered

According to the Brazilian government, the diversity of areas covered by the program reflects the intention to meet the specific demands of different segments of the Brazilian industry.

Among the sectors covered are:

  • Food and Beverages
  • Automation and Mechatronics
  • Automotive
  • Civil Construction
  • Electronics
  • Energy
  • Management
  • Logistics
  • Information Technology

This range aims to meet the qualification needs in strategic sectors for the country’s economic development.

Objectives of the Initiative

The main objective of the ACT is to increase the employability of Brazilian workers, ensuring decent work and expanding participation in processes of generating job and income opportunities.

Moreover, the initiative aims to promote social inclusion, reduce poverty, combat discrimination, and decrease the vulnerability of at-risk populations.

Statements from Authorities

During the signing ceremony, the Minister of Labor and Employment, Luiz Marinho, highlighted the importance of professional qualification for entering the job market and for building a more promising future for young Brazilians.

“We need to create conditions for young people to leave high school prepared to face the challenges of the job market and transition to higher education, if they wish”, Marinho said.

The president of the CNI, Ricardo Alban, reinforced the role of work and occupation as tools to reduce inequalities and weaken crime.

“We want social development to achieve inclusion. We want social development for purchasing power, to have a market, and thus make the wheel of the economy turn in a constructive and permanent way”, emphasized Alban.

National Industry Observatory

During the event, the National Industry Observatory was also presented, a database aimed to be the largest hub of information about the Brazilian industrial sector.

In partnership with the Federal Government, the Observatory will provide strategic intelligence for the entire industrial ecosystem, helping to identify global transformations and the positioning of the Brazilian industry relative to other countries.

Expected Impact

Offering these 200,000 free positions in professional qualification courses represents a significant opportunity for workers seeking to enhance their skills and increase their chances of entering the job market.

Furthermore, the initiative contributes to strengthening the national industry, filling the demand for skilled labor and driving the economic and social development of the country.

How to Apply

Those interested in participating in the courses should pay attention to the information released by Senai and the Ministry of Labor and Employment regarding registration procedures, prerequisites, and deadlines.

The expectation is that registrations will open soon, allowing candidates to begin their qualifications as soon as possible.

Do you believe that this initiative will be sufficient to meet the demand for skilled labor in Brazil and reduce unemployment in the coming years?

A culpa é do próprio governo.
