Good Winds for Brazilian Offshore
Brazil is expanding its horizons for offshore wind energy generation projects, especially in the Northeast of the country, where the potential is greater due to its extensive coastline and favorable wind climatic conditions.
Studies show that the potential for offshore wind energy production in Brazil is 11,000 gigawatts, with 57% located in nine states in the Northeast region, notably Maranhão, Piauí, Ceará, and Rio Grande do Norte.
