In a scenario where electric mobility is gaining more and more prominence, BYD launches the updated version of the Dolphin Mini, now with capacity for five passengers.

The Chinese hatch, which was already the best-selling electric car in Brazil, promises to revolutionize the market even more with this novelty. Discover everything about this launch that is shaking up the Brazilian automotive sector!

An Anticipated Launch and the New Price

Launched in February of this year, the BYD Dolphin Mini quickly became a sales success, even with its four-seat version.

According to information from the website Mobiauto, the Chinese manufacturer had already signaled the arrival of a version for five passengers by mid-2024. And the wait is over: the new model hits the market with a price revealed by the mentioned portal: R$ 119,800.

The price difference between the two versions is relatively small. The four-seat model is sold for R$ 115,800, making the new version only R$ 4,000 more expensive.

This small difference may lead to a reassessment of the continuity of the four-seat version in Brazil, depending on market demand.

Features and Dimensions of the BYD Dolphin Mini

The BYD Dolphin Mini stands out as the most accessible car from the Chinese manufacturer available in Brazil. With a compact design, the hatch measures 3.80 meters in length, 1.70 meters in width, and has a wheelbase of 2.50 meters. The trunk has a capacity of 230 liters, keeping its dimensions unchanged even with the homologation for five seats.

Powertrain and Performance

The Dolphin Mini’s powertrain also remains the same, ensuring performance and efficiency. Equipped with a front electric motor with 75 hp of power and 13.8 kgfm of torque, the vehicle features a single-speed automatic transmission. The 38 kWh battery provides a range of up to 280 km, according to Inmetro tests.

Sim, com 4 já era o maior sucesso de vendas.
Imagine com 5 lugares e diferença apenas 4 mil
