Passagem de avião no Voa Brasil para aposentados do INSS via gov.br usa poltronas vazias e libera até dois bilhetes por ano.

Airfare at R$ 200 in 2026 Can Be Purchased on Voa Brasil, Created in 2024, for INSS Retirees Who Have Not Traveled in the Last 12 Months and Have a gov.br Silver or Gold Account; The Platform Offers Empty Seats and Releases Up to Two Annual Tickets with Final Payment in 1 Hour.

The announcement of Airfare for R$ 200 in 2026 draws attention because it directly addresses an old obstacle: price as a barrier for those who rarely manage to access air transportation. The proposal of Voa Brasil, established in 2024, is to allow INSS retirees to access this fare on flights within the country, as long as they meet specific criteria.

In practice, those who fit the rules do not find a “generic discount”, but rather a search enabled within a platform on gov.br, based on empty seats. This explains why, for some dates and routes, there may be offers, and for others there might not: availability depends on what exists to occupy the aircraft.

How Voa Brasil Turns Empty Seats into Airfare for R$ 200

The central point of the program is efficiency: to use empty seats on aircraft as a way to increase access to air travel. Instead of creating a universal fare for anyone and any route, Voa Brasil directs airline tickets to a specific audience and conditions the offer on the existence of available seats.

This design also helps to understand the “why” of the model: the logic of social inclusion appears precisely by opening a door for new users of air transportation, with a cheaper airfare, without promising that every day and every destination will have options. The benefit exists, but availability is part of the rules of the game.

Who Can Buy and Why the 12-Month Rule Changes Everything

Voa Brasil is aimed at INSS retirees who are active in the database of the Institute and who have not traveled by plane in the last 12 months. This cutoff is not a detail: it defines “who” the platform recognizes as eligible and, therefore, who can even view and search for airfare at R$ 200 within the system.

In addition, there is a digital access requirement: one must have a gov.br account at silver or gold level. This impacts the “where” and the “how” of the benefit because the journey involves login and authentication. Without this account level, the search is not enabled, even if the person is retired and interested in traveling in 2026.

Inside gov.br: Where the Airfare Appears and How the Search Works

Access occurs through the Voa Brasil program page, with login to the gov.br account and authentication. From there, only those who meet the requirements can enter the search area.

At this point, the system requests basic, yet decisive information: city of origin, destination, and travel dates, which will determine if there is airfare at R$ 200 available for that cut.

In the search itself, there is the option to select only one leg, using the “One-Way Only” option. If there are no options for the chosen day, the system allows exploring alternatives with the “Show Flights with Nearby Dates” button, which significantly changes the strategy for those trying to fit the trip into their calendar.

Date flexibility becomes part of the planning, because the offer depends on what is available as an empty seat.

Selection, Reservation, and the Stage That Many People Miss: The 1-Hour Window

After locating a flight, the person selects the desired options and proceeds to confirm the reservation. At this stage, the system requests a review of the flights and filling out personal information.

It is here that the airfare stops being just “an offer” and begins to require operational attention, because there is a deadline to complete the process.

After reserving, the beneficiary has one hour to finalize the purchase on the website of the selected airline. By clicking “Proceed to Payment”, the reservation is confirmed, and the user is redirected to the airline.

If this window expires, the opportunity may be lost, and the person needs to return to the search flow to try again, depending on the availability at the moment.

Final Purchase with the Airline and Tracking in “My Trips”

Payment and issuance occur on the airline’s website where the user was sent. It is there that the purchase must be completed, with payment confirmation. This detail is important to avoid confusion: gov.br organizes eligibility, search, and reservation, but the finalization occurs in the airline’s environment.

Then, trip tracking is done directly with the airline using the locator code available in the “My Trips” section. This code serves as a reference to see flight details, status, and other information within the airline’s system.

Keeping the locator and checking “My Trips” becomes part of the post-purchase process, especially for those who do not have a habit of flying.

Benefits Limits in 2026: Two Tickets Per Year and What That Means in Practice

The program entitles two air tickets per year, regardless of the income level of the retirees.

This sets expectations: it is not about unlimited airfare, but a benefit with an annual cap, which tends to be more useful when a person carefully chooses what to prioritize, whether visiting family, addressing health issues in another city, or taking a long-delayed trip.

It is also worth noting that, as the logic is linked to empty seats, the experience may vary: in some cases, the desired leg may appear quickly; in others, it will be necessary to test nearby dates and adjust plans.

The major change is having a concrete entry point, as long as the criteria are met and the system is used with attention to deadlines.

The airfare at R$ 200 in 2026, within Voa Brasil, does not function as an open promotion, but rather as a benefit with clear rules: active INSS retiree, without a flight in the last 12 months, gov.br silver or gold account, search in the platform, reservation and final purchase with the airline within 1 hour, with a limit of two tickets per year. For those who have never had air transportation in their budget, the technical detail becomes the entire path.

And in your case: are you or someone in your family an INSS retiree who has been 12 months without flying? If you had the right to this airfare at R$ 200, what would be the most important destination in 2026 and why: visiting relatives, resolving something pending, or taking a trip that was postponed?
