This is the first gasoline tank produced by the refinery, after Petrobras received authorization from the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP) to operate the petrochemical naphtha pipeline also with gasoline.
The fuel is formulated with products from RNEST itself and from other refineries. The so-called gasoline A does not have the addition of ethanol, a product that is added to gasoline by distributors who then sell gasoline C.

About Petrobras' Abreu e Lima Refinery (RNEST)
The Abreu e Lima Refinery completed six years in November and is the most modern in the country. The unit has an installed capacity of 130 barrels per day (1st train), which corresponds to 5% of the country's total oil refining capacity.
Currently, it produces diesel with low sulfur content (69% of production), naphtha, fuel oil, coke and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and now it also adds A gasoline to its basket of products.
In addition to diesel oil, its main product, as of 2019, the production of fuel oil for export has also gained prominence. With the entry of the new quality of bunker in the world, Petrobras' strategy to capture the gains associated with the new market led RNEST to break its oil production record eight times in nine months, between 2019 and 2020.
Also in 2019, RNEST started exporting its Coke production, having carried out three operations: in August 2019 to China (31,1 thousand tons), and in May and July 2020 to the United States (31,5. 31,5 thousand tons each month). Today, loading of the vessel begins for a new export to China, with a forecast of XNUMX thousand tons.
