Petrobras Launched Its Largest Edition of the Petrobras Young Apprentice Program Offering Basic Professional Training and Technical Courses for Youth Across Brazil

Petrobras is launching the largest edition of the Petrobras Young Apprentice Program, with over one thousand available positions in 13 states and the Federal District. This program offers basic professional training and technical courses, providing various opportunities for youth throughout Brazil. Learn more about this unique opportunity to enter the job market!

This year, Petrobras is increasing its positions for the Petrobras Young Apprentice Program by over 50% compared to the last edition. More than one thousand positions will be opened in various areas, covering all regions of Brazil.

Learning Modalities in the Young Apprentice Program

The Young Apprentice Program offers two learning modalities: basic professional training lasting 15 months, and the technical course lasting 20 months. Both courses are conducted by SENAI, with theoretical and practical classes, and include learning experiences at Petrobras units. At the end of the young apprentice program, young apprentices receive a technical-professional training diploma, increasing their chances of competing for technical positions in the job market.

Commitment to Diversity: Opportunities for All

Petrobras reaffirms its commitment to promoting diversity by reserving 10% of the young apprentice program positions for people with disabilities (PWD), 15% for adolescents exiting child labor, and 10% for adolescents in institutional care. Additionally, 20 apprentices under socio-educational measures will be included in this program.

Positions and Courses Available Through Petrobras

The positions offered in Petrobras’ young apprentice program will be available in various cities, including Manaus, Salvador, Fortaleza, Brasília, Vitória, Recife, Curitiba, Natal, Canoas, Santos, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, among others. The training courses cover diverse areas, such as administrative assistant, industrial mechanic, systems development technician, industrial automation technician, and many others. For the first time, the program also offers a technical course in renewable energy systems.

Benefits and Applications for the Petrobras Young Apprentice Program

The apprentices hired by Petrobras will receive benefits such as full minimum wage, transportation allowance, 13th salary, vacation, FGTS contributions, and the possibility to join the health benefit (Gympass).
