The State-Owned Company Petrobras Has Just Announced a Contract with the Companies CIMC Raffles and OOS International for the Supply of the Accommodation Vessel OOS Tiradentes During the Next Years in the Offshore Oil and Gas Operations of the Oil Company.
On last Monday, (07/18), the oil and natural gas company Petrobras announced a contract with the Chinese company CIMC Raffles and the Dutch service provider OOS International. The agreement provides for the supply of an accommodation vessel over the next four years, the OOS Tiradentes, which will support the company’s offshore production and enable greater efficiency in maintenance and support services in the segment.
Contract Between Petrobras and Companies CIMC Raffles and OOS International for Supply of Offshore Accommodation Vessel Lasts for 4 Years
Petrobras continues to invest in improvements in the safety and maintenance services of its offshore oil and natural gas production operations and has just announced another contract. This time, the company has partnered with CIMC Raffles from China and the Dutch service provider OOS International for the supply of an offshore accommodation unit that will assist the state-owned company in this segment for the next few years.
The final agreement made between the three companies is scheduled to be completed in four years, and Petrobras will utilize the agreement with CIMC Raffles and OOS International for the services of the OOS Tiradentes, which is a semi-submersible unit built to provide offshore safety and maintenance support. Thus, the company will have more quality and efficiency during its offshore operations in the production of these fuels.

Petrobras’s Offshore Accommodation Vessel Supply Contract with CIMC Raffles and OOS International Follows Two Other Long-Term Contracts from the Company
The newly signed contract between Petrobras, CIMC Raffles, and OOS International for the supply of the offshore accommodation vessel over the next 4 years in Brazil follows two other long-term contracts of the state-owned company granted in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
Currently, the offshore accommodation vessel that will be chartered by Petrobras, the OOS Tiradentes, is managed by Ocean Challenger, an asset management company from CIMC, and its technical manager is OOS International, a provider of offshore services for vessel management.
The vessel was built in 2018 by CIMC Raffles from China and functions as a high-specification semi-submersible accommodation platform equipped with DP3 with an advanced telescopic gangway and capacity to accommodate 600 people, thus ensuring greater efficiency in Petrobras’s accommodation process in offshore maintenance services.
