Petrobras reported on Wednesday (09/29) that gas production from the Manati Field, halted since Monday due to a leak in the land portion of its export pipeline, is expected to resume by the end of this week. Enauta had already anticipated the news of the suspension in a statement released yesterday morning but did not provide an expected timeline for the return of activities.

Petrobras stated that it has already deployed teams for repairs and is evaluating the causes of the leak. The state-owned company emphasized that there is no risk of gas supply shortages to the market. Petrobras holds a 35% stake in the Manati Field. On September 6, the oil company Enauta announced that it had halted production at one of the wells in the Atlanta Field, located in the Santos Basin. According to the relevant fact disclosed by the company on Monday, the company is assessing the causes of the interruption. Preliminary investigations indicate a failure in the subsea pump system. Production is expected to resume in the first quarter of 2022.

The oil company Enauta announced that the Atlanta Field has resumed operations with all wells of the Early Production System after repairs to the heaters were completed. The company stated in a note that it plans to produce about 20,000 barrels of oil per day with the three wells operating after the stabilization period. The estimate could represent a record daily production for the company.

Additionally, activities are being carried out to improve the water treatment capacity on the FPSO Petrojarl I, thereby increasing the production of barrels of oil. The completion of the first phase is expected to result in a 35% increase in the volume of treated water and is scheduled for the end of this year. The company also stated that this month it has begun the bidding process for the necessary equipment and services to drill the fourth oil well, expanding the barrel production capacity of the Atlanta Field.
