The Power of the PETRONAS-Energica Partnership in the Electric Race

In a strategic move towards the future, Energica Motor Company, a global pioneer in high-performance electric motorcycles and electric vehicle system integration, partners with PETRONAS Lubricants International. The latter becomes Energica’s industrial partner, as well as the main sponsor of Energica Racing America for the 2023 season.

Energica currently supports the Tytlers Cycle Racing team, which has shown remarkable performance in Roland Sand Design’s Super Hooligan National Championship, part of the MotoAmerica series. Energica continues to stand out as the only electric manufacturer competing against internal combustion engine brands throughout the season.

PETRONAS: Innovating with Fluids for Electronic Transmission

PETRONAS Lubricants International, represented by PETRONAS Iona, offers a line of cutting-edge fluids developed specifically for electric vehicles. These include fluids for electronic transmission, electronic cooling fluids, and e-greasers. With this partnership, Energica is added to the list of OEMs with which PETRONAS collaborates to expand its fluid solutions, addressing the needs of electric vehicles.

Since the launch of PETRONAS Iona in 2019, the company has been pursuing sustainability through large-scale programs to support electric vehicles, minimize environmental impact, intensify the use of clean energy, manage GHG emissions, and promote the circular economy. These objectives align with Energica’s vision and mission for a cleaner and more sustainable mobility future.
