Previous Situations Involving Wrong Pix and the Same Recipient
The woman stated that her family had already faced a similar situation with the same man. Her sister, at an earlier time, also made a wrong pix to the recipient. After several attempts to collect and filing a report, she managed to retrieve the mistakenly sent amount.
The repetition of the same recipient’s name caught the victim’s attention and reinforced the need to seek police support to clarify the individual’s behavior and check for possible illicit practices.
Police Evaluate The Suspect’s Conduct
The man identified as the recipient lives in Presidente Prudente, a municipality located about 164 km from Araçatuba. The Civil Police will analyze the facts to identify any irregularities and advise the victim on the appropriate measures.
The investigation will verify if there was an intention to appropriate the amount and whether the recurrence involving the victim’s sister may influence the case’s handling. The progress of the investigations should indicate the next steps for the woman to resolve the issue caused by the wrong pix.
