The project also includes a span of 160 meters, a navigation channel with 17 meters in height and 90 meters in width, in addition to 64 piles that ensure the stability of the structure.
Benefits of the Guaratuba Bridge for the Economy and Tourism
The economic impact of the Guaratuba Bridge project is significant. Besides generating direct jobs, the project will facilitate access to Guaratuba, boosting tourism and local trade. The region, which previously faced mobility challenges, is now preparing for significant economic growth.
The total length of the road complex will be 1,826 meters, covering access on both sides: 951 meters in Guaratuba and 875 meters in Matinhos. The project also plans a connection to the Cabaraquara Road in Matinhos, further improving road infrastructure.
Investment and Community Expectations
With an investment of R$ 386.9 million made by the government of Paraná, through the Department of Highways (DER), the Guaratuba Bridge project is being executed by the Nova Ponte consortium, formed by the construction companies OEC, Carioca, and Goetze Lobato.
