New Volkswagen Voyage 2023 Arrives in Brazil with Starting Price of R$ 85,000, Offering 1.0 Engine with 84 Horsepower, Updated Design, and Focus on Efficiency and Practicality for the National Market.

The new version of the Volkswagen Voyage, a compact and economical car from the German manufacturer, arrives in the Brazilian market with a starting price of R$ 85,000. The 2023 model, featuring a combination of updated exterior design and updated technical specifications, promises to maintain the legacy of practicality and efficiency that the Voyage line has always offered to Brazilian consumers.

The Volkswagen Voyage, launched in 1981 and with production ended in 2023, had a trajectory of over 40 years in the automotive market, during which more than 12 versions were developed. These variations brought aesthetic, mechanical, and performance modifications, reflecting the evolution of the model over the years. The decision to discontinue the Voyage is due to the aging of its design, which became outdated and incompatible with new safety standards, in addition to a continuous decline in sales and registrations in recent years.

Engine of the New Volkswagen Voyage

The Voyage is powered by a 1.0 MPI three-cylinder engine, delivering 84 horsepower with ethanol and 77 horsepower with gasoline, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Fuel efficiency is one of the improvements, with the model achieving up to 13.8 km/l in the city and 15.6 km/l on the highway with gasoline.

The Volkswagen Voyage 2023 features halogen headlights with chrome details and a glossy black finish on the outer area of the headlights. The car does not include fog lights or front parking sensors. Its honeycomb-shaped front grille and the Volkswagen emblem prominently positioned stand out. The 15-inch wheels and adequate ground clearance are designed to meet driving conditions in Brazil.

Interior and Comfort

Internally, the Voyage features fabric seats with manual adjustments and a predominantly plastic dashboard, reflecting a design focused on functionality. The model lost the USB port and the cell phone holder present in the previous version. The interior space and the trunk, with a capacity of 462 liters, are strong points, fitting well for family use.

Configurations and Prices of the Volkswagen Voyage 2023

Although the basic version of the Voyage is available for R$ 85,000, the model can reach nearly R$ 100,000 with metallic paint and optional packages, such as the Urban package that adds several comfort and convenience features.

The Volkswagen Voyage 2023 continues to offer a robust and economical option in the compact car segment in Brazil, maintaining its commitment to practicality and efficiency. Despite the limitations in terms of engine variations and equipment in its entry-level version, the model has the potential to meet the needs of the Brazilian market.

A VW e seu museu cheio de novidades! Já estamos quase a 2 meses do meio do ano e agora que chegou o Voyage Barrichelo?? E ainda cara do outro?? E querem vender por 85 mil?? Sou mais o Pólo que pelo menos é parecido com outros mas é top!
