Honda has just surprised the market by announcing the launch of the MS01, an electric scooter that promises to revolutionize urban mobility. With the incredibly affordable price of less than R$ 4 thousand, the MS01 offers double the range of the famous Mobylette and features an innovative design resulting from the partnership between Honda and the Japanese retail giant Muji, according to the website De Olho na Engenharia.

The collaboration between Honda and Muji resulted in a unique design for the MS01. Muji, known for its minimalist and sustainable approach, brought its design expertise to the electric motorcycle, while Honda was responsible for the engineering and technology behind the vehicle.

Limited Edition and Affordable Price

The MS01 will be launched in a limited edition of 5,000 units, initially available only in China. With an estimated price of US$ 744, approximately R$ 4 thousand, Honda’s electric scooter promises to be an affordable option for those seeking an economical and sustainable urban transportation alternative.

Equipped with a 400w motor and a 48v battery, the MS01 electric scooter offers a maximum speed of 25 km/h and an impressive range of 65 km only in electric mode, without the need to pedal. According to Honda, the average user will need to charge the MS01 only once or twice a week, making it a practical and economical option for daily use.

Although there is still no forecast for the arrival of the MS01 in Brazil, if it occurs, Honda’s electric scooter promises to be a strong competitor to other models on the market, like Caloi’s new electric Mobylette. With a bold design and a proposal for sustainable urban mobility, the MS01 could soon win the hearts of Brazilians.
