Technology and Entrepreneurship Meet in the Workshops and Courses Offered by the Naves do Conhecimento, an Initiative of the Municipal Secretariat of Science and Technology.
The Municipal Secretariat of Science and Technology (SMCT), through the Naves do Conhecimento, has opened registrations for 4,000 spots in various free courses and workshops in the areas of technology and entrepreneurship for the month of June. The schedule also includes lectures and workshops available at the units.
“The Naves play a crucial role in spreading digital inclusion and the opportunity for technological qualification in this rapidly changing world”, stated Tatiana Roque, Municipal Secretary of Science and Technology. “Our focus is to retrain people so that technology does not become a tool for deepening economic and social inequalities.”
Training for the Job Market
The content offered aims to train young people and adults for the job market in a sector that is growing every day. Letícia Conceição, 28 years old, who was born in Complexo do Alemão and was a student at the Nave de Nova Brasília, shares her experience.

“After finishing my Photoshop classes, I was invited to work as a monitor in the Photography course. I also became a monitor for the Web Design course. I am eternally grateful to the Nave for everything it has provided me, for showing me who I was and what I could be”, revealed Conceição.
