Free IT Courses Offered by BH City Hall
The city hall has made 2500 free spots available for courses in information technology. Please note that the spots are for Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, and responsibilities are handled by the local responsible secretariat. Classes will be online, so it is necessary for the registrant to have a computer with good quality internet. Interested individuals can choose from the following 6 topics:
- Introduction to New Technologies;
- Spreadsheet;
- Tools for Home Office;
- Environmental Education and Electronic Waste;
- Website Creation with Content Management Systems;
- Web Programming.
The free Web Programming course will cover topics such as HTML/CSS, Introduction to JavaScript Programming Logic, Databases, and PHP Programming Language.
There will be an exclusive option for women to take the Web Programming course, which will provide an additional 100 spots. Additionally, a partnership with the Municipal Secretary of Economic Development will enable another 500 spots for courses in Digital Entrepreneurship.
