Timon City Hall Opens Enrollments From March 12 to 27 for 380 Vacancies in Vocational Courses of the Qualifying & Transforming Lives Project, in Partnership with SENAI and SENAC, with Enrollments at CRAS, at SEMDES, or Through the Conecta Timon App
The Timon City Hall has opened enrollments for 380 vacancies in vocational courses of the Qualifying & Transforming Lives project. The period runs from March 12 to 27 and also includes residents of the rural area of the municipality.
Enrollments for Vocational Courses Start on March 12
The initiative is led by the Municipal Department of Social Development (SEMDES), responsible for executing the project. In this second phase, the offer of vocational courses occurs in partnership with SENAI and SENAC.
The program expands access to professional qualification for the people of Timon, including residents of the rural area of the municipality.
-
Take a free course at the Federal University: UFPR calls 200 candidates for intensive preparation for master’s and doctoral programs.
-
Learn English and Spanish at the Federal Institute without leaving home and 100% free: IFSP calls for interested parties for EAD vacancies starting in April and selection by order of registration.
-
Free professional qualification courses: those who want to qualify for free now have more time to enroll in Senai courses with evening classes in SP.
-
Few people know, but Senac has made many free 100% online courses available with certificates to study Marketing, HR, Tourism, IT, and Leadership without paying a single real.
The proposal aims to increase opportunities for training and access to income-generating activities.
Criteria for Participation in Vocational Courses
To compete for one of the vacancies in vocational courses, the interested party must be registered in the Unified Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government. Additionally, it is necessary to meet the age and educational criteria defined for each training.
The requirement for registration in the CadÚnico allows directing the vacancies to people in situations of social vulnerability. Thus, vocational courses prioritize candidates who are already participating in social programs registered in the system.
Locations and Documents Required for Registration
Enrollments can be made at the Social Assistance Reference Centers (CRAS), at the headquarters of SEMDES, or through the Conecta Timon app. After the initial registration, candidates must appear in person to confirm the enrollment.
During in-person attendance, interested parties need to present CPF, proof of residence, educational declaration, and the Summary Sheet of the CadÚnico. The in-person confirmation is necessary to validate participation in the vocational courses.
List of Courses Offered by SENAI and SENAC
Among the vocational courses offered by SENAI are Real Estate Painting, Sewing on Straight and Overlock Machines, Masonry, and Residential Electrical Installation. Training for Pastry Chef, Motorcycle Mechanic, Hydraulic Installer, and Residential Refrigeration Mechanic are also offered.
SENAC, on the other hand, offers vocational courses focused on the aesthetics and beauty sector. Among the options are Basic Hair Removal, Hair Removal with Thread, Hair Cutting, and Barber Techniques, in addition to Skin Cleansing.
Project Already Certified 292 Students in 2025
The Qualifying & Transforming Lives project aims to expand professional qualification and stimulate opportunities for income generation. The initiative seeks to prepare residents of the municipality for inclusion in the job market or to start their own businesses.
Only in 2025, the program certified 292 students after completing the offered training. Some participants have already been inserted into the job market or started their own business after completing the vocational courses.
