Operator Responsibilities
For IEL, the ETE Operator will have several responsibilities that are essential for the effective functioning of the wastewater treatment station.
Among the main duties of this operator are: being responsible for operating and monitoring the station, ensuring that processes comply with environmental and safety standards.
Additionally, they will collect wastewater samples at different stages of the process, performing laboratory analyses to check parameters such as pH, BOD, and COD.
Another important function will be the preventive and corrective maintenance of the station’s equipment, such as pumps and valves, to ensure continuous operation.
The IEL operator will also need to control and adjust the dosage of chemicals used in wastewater treatment, such as coagulants, flocculants, and disinfectants, ensuring process efficiency.
Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on the station’s performance is also part of their activities, including operational data and results from laboratory analyses.
Furthermore, they will implement corrective and preventive actions to optimize the treatment process and reduce waste generation.
