The special retirement in the INSS is one of the most relevant benefits for those who engage in activities in hazardous or unhealthy environments. According to the FDR portal, professionals exposed to risks can retire up to 20 years before the minimum age of 63, provided they prove their contribution time and exposure to harmful agents.
In 2025, the rules remain valid, dividing workers into three risk levels: low, medium, and high. Depending on the category, it is possible to secure retirement after 25, 20, or even 15 years of contributions, without the need to reach the minimum age required in other systems.

The risk categories are defined as low, medium, and high, each with specific time requirements to apply for the benefit.
At the low risk level, the requirement is 25 years of contributions.
At the medium risk level, it is 20 years. In the high risk category, it is possible to retire with just 15 years of activity, representing the greatest reduction in time required by Social Security.
Low Risk Professions (25 Years)
Health workers, such as doctors, nurses, and dentists, are included in this category.
Also part of this category are firefighters, chemical engineers, electricians above 250 volts, bus and cargo truck drivers over 4 thousand tons, as well as construction professionals in large projects.
Other functions exposed to harmful agents, such as welders, spray painters, and lathe operators, are also among the low-risk activities that guarantee retirement after 25 years of contributions.
Medium Risk Professions (20 Years)
This category includes workers exposed to substances such as mercury, lead, and white phosphorus.
The roles include foundry workers, molders, lead rollers, and those who work in tunnels, flooded galleries, and explosive environments.
According to FDR, these activities require frequent contact with medium-risk agents, which justifies the possibility of special retirement after just 20 years of contributions.
High Risk Professions (15 Years)
At the most severe level are workers who face extreme conditions daily.
Underground miners, rock drill operators in caves, rock loaders, and underground drillers make up this category.
The high risk is justified by the intense exposure to dust, noise, and constant physical danger.
Therefore, the law allows retirement after 15 years of contributions, without a minimum age, making it the most advantageous rule for those in these roles.
Required Documents to Prove the Right
To access the special retirement in the INSS, the worker needs to present technical documentation that proves the working conditions. Among the main ones are:
PPP (Professional Profile Registration), issued by the employer detailing exposure to risks.
LTCAT (Technical Report on Environmental Working Conditions), prepared by a doctor or occupational engineer.
Old forms (SB-40, DSS-8030, DIRBEN-8030), valid for periods prior to the PPP.
Work Card, which proves the role performed and the professional history.
Without these documents, the application may be denied by the INSS, even if the worker has been in risk roles for decades.

Professores sofrem com barulhos o tempo todo e muito, acabam doentes, depressivos por salas numerosas, cansativas, difíceis de lidar e hoje está perigosa, sofrendo agressões, desrespeitos. Ao aposentar passará necessidades devido a debilidades pela profissão desgastante, o mínimo seria sair com o valor do último salário, seria compensado por um trabalho importante e desvalorizado.
Claro que sim,por exemplo,Eu por sinal trabalho como porteiro,pela uma empresa que por sinal, com seus contatos diante de empresa que abrange,entre indústria e também condomínio e vários comércio de vários seguimentos, entre supermercado, padaria, são empresa que dão a sociedade ó direto de vim é ir comprar suas necessidades,para suas necessidades, então diante,deste estabelecimento comerciais, pelo fato de sermos porteiro ou até frente de loja,isso não sequinifica, que os riscos são de sermos, observado de uma forma,desciminatoria,por pelas pessoas de boas índole e outras, que tavel nem sabemos, com qual propósito venham a fazer, então ó nossos riscos são exatamente eminentes,por isso em meu questionamento estou, analisado os nossos direitos como também de risco de Vida,para que a sociedade sejam bem VISTA em todos os requisitos.
