One Of The Most Resistant Cars In The World, Made Of Stainless Steel, Faced A Collision With An Animal On The Track At 120 Km/h. The Results Will Surprise You!

Traveling on roads can be unpredictable. Wild animals, such as deer and boars, often cross drivers’ paths, causing accidents that result in significant damage. However, the Tesla Cybertruck, with its ultra-resistant stainless steel body, seems to defy the statistics.

The Impact And The Damage

Recently, Justin Demaree shared an impressive incident on social media. He was driving his Cybertruck at around 120 km/h when a deer unexpectedly crossed his route. The impact was unavoidable, but the outcome was surprising.

The deer hit the front left side of the vehicle, on the driver’s side. Unfortunately, the animal did not survive the collision. But the Cybertruck, despite visible damage, came out almost unscathed. The plastic bumpers and headlight sustained damage, but the stainless steel structure remained intact. There was only some misalignment in the windshield frames and the driver’s door, indicating that the body absorbed the impact energy well.

The Cybertruck’s body was designed to withstand extreme conditions. Its cold-rolled stainless steel, advertised as virtually bulletproof, was a challenge on Tesla’s production line. Many questioned the project’s viability, but Justin’s incident shows that the material delivers what was promised.

Costs And Implications

The Cybertruck involved in the accident did not belong to Justin. He had rented the vehicle through the Turo platform, a company that has already had other unusual cases involving Tesla’s model. Last month, a rented Cybertruck from the same company was the target of an explosion attempt in front of a hotel.

Undoubtedly, the repair cost must be high. Initial estimates point to around US$ 5,000, mainly due to the damaged plastic parts and the realignment of the doors. However, the incident raises questions about the vehicle’s robustness and its ability to withstand severe impacts.

Tesla has promoted the Cybertruck as a revolutionary vehicle, blending futuristic design with high-durability materials. Episodes like this strengthen the model’s safety image, even in the face of unexpected situations on the roads.

This case also highlights the importance of caution when driving on highways where the presence of animals is common. A high-speed impact can be fatal for animals and bring losses to the driver, even with a vehicle as resilient as the Cybertruck.
