Firjan Senai is offering 3,840 spots in free technical courses at the high school level in various areas, aiming to qualify professionals for the job market.

The spots are available for individuals with a family income of up to 1.5 federal minimum wage, and applications for the courses can be made until January 31 at Firjan Senai units spread throughout the State of Rio de Janeiro.

How to Apply for Technical Course Spots

To apply for spots in the free technical courses, interested individuals must go to one of the 23 Firjan Senai units in the State of Rio de Janeiro by January 31.

The spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and registrations for the courses may close early if the number of applicants reaches the limit.

By applying, the candidate will secure their participation in the selection for the free technical courses offered by Firjan Senai.

Firjan Senai Selection Exam and Start of Classes in Technical Courses

After registration, candidates will need to participate in a selection exam for the spots in the free courses.

The exam will be held on February 1, 2025, with questions in Portuguese Language and Mathematics. To take the selection exam, the candidate must present proof of registration, an official photo ID, and a blue or black ballpoint pen.

The results will be announced at the Firjan Senai units where the candidate took the exam. Classes for the free courses will begin on February 17, 2025.

Spots Distributed in Various Regions of Rio

The spots for the free technical courses are distributed across various regions in the State of Rio de Janeiro.

In the Metropolitan Region, there are spots in Itaguaí, Caxias, Nova Iguaçu, Niterói, São Gonçalo and in several neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro, such as Jacarepaguá, Santa Cruz, Benfica, Vila Isabel, Maracanã and Tijuca.

In the interior of the state, the spots for the free courses are available in cities such as Barra do Piraí, Barra Mansa, Três Rios, Valença, Volta Redonda, Resende, Friburgo, Petrópolis, Itaperuna, Campos, and Macaé.
