Permanent Education: Integrating Health and Education
The specialization in Permanent Education: Health and Education from an Integrative Perspective is offered in partnership with the Open University of Brazil (UAB/MEC).
This course is aimed at professionals who wish to deepen their practices in health and education, exploring integrative approaches.
According to Fiocruz, there are 280 spots available in the distance learning modality (EAD), with in-person support poles in seven Brazilian states.
The cities served include Alto Paraíso (GO), Barras (PI), Canguçu (RS), Foz do Iguaçu (PR), Jardim Esmeralda (SP), Orós (CE), and Sabará (MG).
The selection process evaluates the candidates’ resumes and letters of intent, with scores based on criteria such as relevant professional experiences and a personal justification for the course.
Candidates who achieve at least six points will be classified, and in case of a tie, factors such as links with public service, length of experience, and age will be considered.
Educational Technologies: Innovation for Health Education
The course Educational Technologies for Teaching Practice in Health Education is aimed at basic education professionals who wish to critically implement technology use in health education.
As reported by the EAD/ENSP Portal, the specialization has 82 primary spots and 54 alternates available.
Enrollments are also open until December 30, 2024, and can be made for free on Fiocruz’s official portal.
This course combines distance learning with pedagogical interaction moments through platforms like YouTube and Microsoft Teams.
Participants will also have in-person meetings in April and October 2025, promoting practical integration between theory and experience.
Among the municipalities with support poles are Brasileia and Rio Branco (AC), Ilhéus (BA), Maragogi (AL), Saquarema, Três Rios, and Nova Friburgo (RJ).
The selection process for this specialization follows the same structure as the previous course, with analyses of resumes and letters of intent.
The training aims to create professionals capable of integrating educational technologies into teaching practice, with a direct impact on health education in schools.
