The selection of participants will be conducted through an electronic lottery, ensuring transparency and equal opportunities in the selection process.
Who Can Participate in IFB’s Free Courses
To compete for a spot, interested individuals must have completed elementary school.
In the case of the Spanish course, the minimum age required is 16 years, while for the Libras course, it is necessary to be at least 15 years old.
Each candidate may enroll in only one of the courses available at this stage.
According to the Brazilian Institute of Federal Education, these criteria aim to ensure the best fit for students to the profile of the courses offered.
Libras Qualification: A Market Differential and Inclusion
Libras qualification, besides meeting national accessibility legislation, represents an important differential for professionals in various fields.
Mastering Brazilian Sign Language enables communication with deaf individuals, expands service reach, and contributes to more inclusive environments.
In sectors such as education, health, public administration, and private companies, fluency in Libras is increasingly valued, as emphasized by experts and representative entities.
Free Spanish: Professional and Cultural Opportunities
In the context of the Spanish course, learning the language opens doors to new cultural and professional experiences, especially in a globalized context where the mastery of other languages is a determining factor for career success.
According to data from the Ministry of Education and market research, knowledge of foreign languages is one of the most sought-after requirements in selection processes and international opportunities.
Structure of IFB’s Free Courses and Certificates
The structure of IFB’s courses has been designed to meet the demand of those seeking training without compromising other activities.
The in-person format provides direct interaction with teachers and peers, favoring the development of practical skills and professional networking.
Approved students will receive a certificate of completion issued by the Brazilian Institute of Federal Education, granting credibility and recognition to their resume.
Accessibility and Inclusion in the Registration Process
Another highlight is the accessibility provided by IFB during the registration period.
For those without access to the internet at home, Estrutural Campus offers computers and support for online registration, from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 12 PM and from 1 PM to 5 PM.
This measure increases the chances of participation for candidates in vulnerable situations or with technological difficulties, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to inclusion.
Selection Process: Electronic Lottery and Enrollment
The stages of the selection process are clear and objective.
After the public lottery, which will take place on August 4, 2025, at 2 PM, in the campus auditorium, the list of selected candidates will be released.
Approved candidates in the first call must register in person according to the guidelines of the announcement.
Those not selected on the first list may express their interest in participating in the waiting list, increasing their chances of securing a spot.
