The Faculty of Animal Science and Food Engineering at USP has opened 1000 spots for the free online course “The First App is One We’ll Never Forget: Build Your First Mobile App (iOS/Android) Using Thunkable AppBuilder/MIT App Inventor”.

This course, which promises to be a gateway to the universe of apps, will have a workload of 4 hours and will cover a variety of essential topics.

The course content is structured to facilitate learning, starting with a introduction to app development, demystifying the complexity of the process.

From there, students will learn about online platforms for app development, how to design and program your first app, and explore visual and internal elements like buttons, text boxes, motion and voice sensors.

The classes will be taught by Professor Edson Roberto da Silva on October 23, 2024, and streamed on YouTube. The course is aimed at high school students, undergraduates, graduate students, and anyone interested in learning how to develop apps.
