The Qualifica SP Program – New Employment, an initiative by the Government of the State of São Paulo through the Secretary of Economic Development (SDE), in collaboration with the Secretary of Economic Development and Entrepreneurship of Vargem Grande Paulista, announces the opening of spots for a free professional qualification course. The focus of this edition is training Logistics Assistants, with 20 opportunities available for in-person classes in the city of Vargem Grande Paulista.

The choice of the professional qualification course for Logistics Assistant was strategic, based on a detailed analysis of the local labor market needs, carried out in conjunction with the municipalities of the region. The main goal is to establish a direct link between the learning acquired in the course and the existing job opportunities, providing training in a sector with a demand for qualified professionals.

About the Secretary of Economic Development (SDE):

The SDE of the São Paulo Government plays a crucial role in promoting reindustrialization and attracting investments, aiming for job generation, income, and balanced development of the regions in the state. In addition to professional qualification programs like Qualifica SP, the secretariat also implements actions to support entrepreneurship, including microcredit lines through the Banco do Povo. The SDE coordinates important institutions such as InvestSP, Desenvolve SP, and the Commercial Registry of the State of São Paulo (Jucesp).

Schedule: Evening (6 PM to 10:10 PM)

Registration for the Free Course

Those interested in participating in the free professional qualification course must register exclusively online, through the official website of the Qualifica SP program: qualificasp.sp.gov.br. The deadline for registration ends on May 20. To compete for one of the spots, candidates must be at least 16 years old, be literate, and have residence in the state of São Paulo. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of available spots, the selection process will prioritize unemployed candidates, those with low income, and people with disabilities.

The selection of candidates for the course will be communicated via email. In-person classes are scheduled for the evening and are expected to start on May 26. To obtain certification at the end of the course, it is necessary for the student to achieve a minimum attendance of 75% in the classes.
