Sesc PR is offering an unmissable opportunity for those who wish to learn a new language: there are 648 free spots for certified English and Spanish courses by Sesc across the state. Registrations are open until July 2 and include high-quality teaching materials. The classes are aimed at workers in commerce and their dependents, as well as students from public schools and full scholarship students from private institutions. Don’t miss this chance to enhance your knowledge!

The scholarships cover both the tuition and the teaching materials used in the classes. In the English course, the materials are provided by Cambridge University Press. For the Spanish course, the materials are from Edelsa Publishing.

In Curitiba, 76 spots are offered, divided into modules that cover different levels of knowledge. In the rural areas of the state, there are spots in 28 locations across 26 cities.

The free Spanish classes are offered exclusively at the Sesc Portão units in Curitiba, Foz do Iguaçu, Maringá, and Paranavaí.

Who Can Apply for the Free Spots in the Certified English and Spanish Courses Offered by Sesc

The spots are intended for groups starting from 11 years of age and are available for workers in the commerce of goods, services, and tourism, or their dependents, students from Basic Education in public schools, and/or students from the private network who have full scholarships.

Candidates also need to demonstrate that their gross family income does not exceed three minimum wages according to the current national floor.

The announcement for the free English and Spanish courses with certificates contains the complete list of required documentation and the units that provide spots for the second semester of 2024. To register, candidates must access the Sesc PR website and fill out the registration form by July 2. It is necessary to provide proof of gross family income of up to three minimum wages and present the required documentation as specified in the announcement.
