The Federal Institute of Southern Minas Gerais (IFSULDEMINAS) is opening registrations for the free online extension course in Active Methodologies and Educational Robotics. This course, outlined in Public Notice No. 64/2024, aims to train teachers and education professionals in innovative pedagogical practices, focusing on active methodologies and technological tools. A total of 100 spots are offered for this initial and continuing education (FIC) training, which promises to enhance educational practice and qualify participants for the use of educational technology.

The free online course (EAD) aims to train teachers in the use of active methodologies integrated with technological tools, strengthening pedagogical practice with new resources. With a total workload of 40 hours, the course will be conducted entirely online (EaD), allowing flexibility for participants. During the training, students will engage in activities such as lectures, discussion forums, seminars, and a final project, where they can apply the knowledge acquired.

Available Positions and Offering Locations

In total, 100 positions are offered for the free online course (EAD), which will be conducted by the Machado Campus of IFSULDEMINAS. Being in the distance format, the course allows participation from candidates from any location, provided they meet the requirements and have internet access. Selection Processes and Participation Criteria

The selection of candidates will be made by order of registration, meaning the first 100 valid registrations will be selected for the course. If the spots are not filled, the notice allows for the reopening of registrations. There are no specific reserved spots for quotas or affirmative actions, but the process ensures equal conditions for people with disabilities.

Requirements for Course Registration

To participate, candidates must have a CPF, a valid email address, internet access, and the necessary technological resources to follow the classes. Additionally, the course is open to teachers from public and private networks throughout Brazil, as well as professionals and students in the education field interested in enhancing their skills with educational technologies.
