The free courses will be offered at campuses located in several cities in the state of Mato Grosso, including Alta Floresta, Barra do Garças, Cáceres, Campo Novo do Parecis, Confresa, Cuiabá, Diamantino, Guarantã do Norte, Juína, Lucas do Rio Verde, Pontes e Lacerda, Primavera do Leste, Rondonópolis, São Vicente, Sinop, Sorriso, Tangará da Serra, and Várzea Grande. Each campus offers different technical courses, allowing students to choose the nearest unit or one that offers the course of their interest.

Who Can Participate:
The applications for the selection process will be open from June 10 to September 8, 2024. To apply, candidates must have completed elementary education by the enrollment date and meet the specific requirements of the announcement. The application process must be carried out exclusively through the IFMT website, where the candidate must fill out the application form and pay a fee of R$ 50.00.
In addition to the general admission spots, IFMT reserves a significant percentage of spots for candidates who fit into affirmative action policies. This includes spots for people with disabilities, low-income students, self-declared black, brown, indigenous, and quilombola individuals. The affirmative action policies aim to promote inclusion and diversity in the educational environment.
About the Selection Process
The selection process will consist of an objective test, whose syllabus is available in the announcement. The test will be applied at various IFMT units, ensuring accessibility for candidates from different regions. In addition, the institute will adopt a quota system, reserving 60% of the spots for students coming from public schools, according to current legislation.
