Transforming lives through education has been Senac’s mission for nearly eighty years. With various courses, many of them free, Senac São Paulo offers this year more than 130 thousand places in technical and vocational courses. Areas such as IT, Tourism, Administration, and Health are among those covered. The scholarships are 100% free, including educational materials. These opportunities are available in all 63 units of the State of São Paulo.
Maurício Pedro, operations manager at Senac São Paulo, emphasizes: “With the Senac of Gratitude Program, we are able to generate educational opportunities. This program is vital; it is part of our mission to transform lives.”
Senac Technical Courses
Among the technical courses with the highest number of vacancies are: Technical in Administration, Technical in Nursing, Technical in IT, Technical in Human Resources, and Technical in Occupational Safety. In addition to these, there are also courses in Management and Business (28 thousand spots), Information Technology (more than 19 thousand spots), Fashion, Beauty and Well-Being (more than 23 thousand spots), Health (more than 13 thousand spots), and Social Development (more than 15 thousand spots). Senac also offers language courses, including English, French, Spanish, and sign language, as well as short-duration free courses.

“Senac is a professional education institution focused on hands-on experience, preparing people for the job market,” explains Maurício Pedro. Senac’s training can be used in both companies and the service sector, and also allows individuals to quickly become entrepreneurs. “We know that there are not enough CLT jobs for everyone, but there is work for many. Our courses enable autonomous employability, allowing individuals to start their own business and quickly enter the job market,” says the operations manager of Senac.
An assessment from the National Department of the institution shows that the employability rate is 70% among students and alumni one year after graduation. Tourism, for example, is an area with free courses that is expanding in the country, offering numerous career possibilities. Data from IBGE indicates that tourist activity in Brazil grew 7.5% from January to November last year compared to the same period in 2022.
Enrollment and Requirements
The Senac Gratitude Program is aimed at students with a monthly family income of up to two federal minimum wages per person. The offer of vacancies is constant, and enrollment must be done 20 days before the start of the course. Interested parties should stay alert, as enrollments occur on a first-come, first-served basis in a virtual queue. The available free technical courses can be checked on the institution’s website.
Senac Gratitude
The Senac Gratitude Program will complete 15 years in 2024, benefiting more than 1.5 million people, expanding access to quality professional education and opening up a world of alternatives in the job market. “The professional education course allows for a life change,” says Maurício Pedro. “Those who start taking a course that offers chances to enter the job market seek to continue their studies. They start to have an income, contributing to family status in most cases. This is very satisfying. Our technical training guarantees dignity and improves the individual’s position in society.”
