“Senac is a professional education institution focused on doing so, preparing people for the job market”, explains Maurício Pedro. Senac's training can be used both in companies and in the service sector, and also allows people to start a business quickly. “We know that there are no jobs with CLT contracting for everyone, but there are jobs for many. Our courses allow autonomous employability, enabling people to undertake and quickly enter the job market”, states the operations manager at Senac.
A survey by the institution's National Department shows that the employability rate is 70% among students and alumni after one year of graduation. Tourism, for example, is an area with free and expanding courses in the country, offering countless career possibilities. IBGE data indicate that tourist activity in Brazil grew 7,5% from January to November last year compared to the same period in 2022.
Registration and requirements
The free Senac program is aimed at students with a monthly family income of up to two federal minimum wages per person. The supply of vacancies is constant, and the Registration must be made 20 days before the start of the course. Interested parties should pay attention, as registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis in a virtual queue. The free technical courses available can be checked on the institution's website.
Senac Free
The Senac Free Program turns 15 years old in 2024, benefiting more than 1,5 million people, expanding access to quality professional education and opening up a universe of alternatives in the job market. “The professional education course allows a change in life”, says Maurício Pedro. “Anyone who starts taking a course that offers chances of entering the job market seeks to continue their studies. Begins to earn an income, contributing to the family status in most cases. This is very satisfying. Our technical training guarantees dignity and improves the individual’s position in society.”
