UVA and UAB Open Selection for 840 Places in 2025
The State University of Vale do Acaraú (UVA), in partnership with the Open University of Brazil (UAB), announced the opening of registrations for the 2025.1 Selection Process.
There are 840 places available in five distance learning undergraduate courses, regulated by Public Notice No. 03/2024.
The proposal not only broadens access to higher education but also meets market demands and contributes to the training of teachers, aligning with CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel) inclusion policies.
Diversity of Courses and In-Person Support Locations
The offered courses cover strategic areas for the country’s development:
- Public Administration: 150 places;
- Accounting: 150 places;
- Physical Education: 180 places;
- Renewable Energies: 180 places;
- Pedagogy: 180 places.
The courses have support from 15 in-person support locations, strategically spread across different localities.
This way, students have access to the necessary infrastructure to balance distance learning with in-person learning moments.
Inclusion and Diversity in the Selection Process
One of the main differentiators of this selection is the focus on social inclusion.
Specific Quotas allocate 25% of places for public school teachers, reinforcing the recognition and training of these professionals.
