Requirements and Salary
The requirements to participate in the contest vary according to the area, requiring a degree or teaching qualification in the intended field. The approved candidates will enter the position of teacher under the exclusive dedication (DE) regime, with an initial salary of R$ 4,875.18. This amount can be increased based on qualifications: R$ 487.51 for improvement, R$ 975.04 for specialization, R$ 2,437.59 for a master’s degree, and R$ 5,606.46 for a doctorate.
In other words, the amount of R$ 10,481.64 corresponds to the salary for the position of basic, technical, and technological education teacher for those holding a doctorate. The initial base salary is R$ 4,875.18, and with the remuneration for a doctorate qualification (an increase of R$ 5,606.46), the total amount reaches R$ 10,481.64.
How Will the Selection Process Be?
The selection process for the positions offered in the IFSP contest will consist of the following phases:
- Objective Test: Composed of 40 questions, of which 15 are related to legislation and pedagogical knowledge, and 25 are related to specific knowledge. The test will take place on October 13, 2024, in São Paulo.
- Didactic Performance Test: Will assess the candidate’s ability to conduct a class, following a previously prepared lesson plan.
- Title Evaluation: This phase is classificatory, and candidates must present their qualifications on the date of the didactic test(public-notice-55-2024).
