The Federal Revenue Service Offers 71 Positions for Experts at Viracopos Airport. Candidates Must Have a Higher Education Degree and Experience. Applications Open in January 2025. This Is the Chance for Specialized Professionals to Showcase Their Expertise and Act in Strategic Customs Operations in Foreign Trade.

In Brazil, where customs efficiency plays a crucial role in international trade and tax collection, the Federal Revenue Service announces an unmissable opportunity.

This is the opening of a selection process for the accreditation of 71 specialized experts at Viracopos International Airport in Campinas, São Paulo.

The announcement, published recently in the Official Gazette, promises to attract qualified professionals from various fields.

Exclusive Opportunity for Higher Education Professionals

The selection process is targeted at candidates with a higher education degree, proven experience, and interest in working as experts at the Viracopos Customs.

According to the Federal Revenue Service, the accreditation covers a wide range of specialties, reflecting the diversity of customs operations at the airport.

Mandatory Requirements and Desired Profile

According to the announcement, interested parties must have a higher education degree in specific areas and prove at least two years of professional experience in the chosen field.

The Federal Revenue Service seeks candidates capable of performing detailed analyses, issuing technical opinions, and significantly contributing to the efficiency of customs operations.

Among the specialties covered are:

  • Engineering (Agricultural, Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, Biomedical, Food, and Textile);
  • Health Sciences (Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine);
  • Exact and Earth Sciences (Chemistry and Geology);
  • Gemology and Museology.

This diversity of areas demonstrates the complexity of the functions performed by experts and the importance of their work to ensure safety and legal compliance.

How to Register

Registrations will take place between January 6 and 12, 2025, and interested individuals must follow a detailed process, as described in the announcement. The procedure includes:

  1. Sending an email to [peritos.sp.alfvcp@rfb.gov.br] requesting the opening of a digital dossier;
  2. Including personal information in the body of the email, such as full name, CPF, and intended area of expertise;
  3. Receiving the number of the digital dossier generated by the Federal Revenue Service;
  4. Accessing the e-CAC portal with digital certification to attach the required documentation.

It is essential that candidates stay alert to deadlines and rigorously follow the guidelines to avoid disqualification.

Expert Functions: A Strategic Role

Accredited experts will be responsible for identifying and classifying goods, quantifying assets, issuing forensic reports, and providing technical support to customs inspection.

These duties are crucial for ensuring compliance with legal standards and the safety of international operations conducted at Viracopos Airport.

Selection Criteria and Scoring System

The selection process will utilize a scoring system that values both academic education and professional experience. The criteria include:

  • Experience as an accredited expert by the Federal Revenue Service: up to 4 points (1 point for every 2 years);
  • Professional experience in the specific area: up to 4 points (1 point for every 2 years);
  • Lato sensu postgraduate degree (minimum 360 hours): 1 point per course;
  • Strictu sensu postgraduate degree: 2 points per course (maximum of 4 points);
  • Specialization courses (minimum 60 hours): 0.5 points per course.

This method ensures a fair and comprehensive assessment, balancing practical experience and academic qualification.

Compensation and Employment Relationship

It is important to highlight that accreditation does not establish an employment relationship with the Federal Revenue Service. Experts will work as independent professionals, being compensated for services rendered.

Fees will follow the limits and conditions set forth in RFB Normative Instruction No. 2086 of 2022 and will be paid by the interested party in the process, such as importers, exporters, or carriers.

Deadlines and Results Disclosure

The final result will be announced on February 5, 2025, on the official website of the Federal Revenue Service. Successful candidates must confirm interest, present additional documentation, and follow guidelines to begin their activities.

Validity of Accreditation and Possibilities for Extension

The accreditation will have an initial validity of two years, which may be extended for an equal period at the discretion of the Customs Delegate of Viracopos.

This structure allows for the constant renewal and qualification of experts, ensuring excellence in the services provided.

Strategic Importance of Experts in Foreign Trade

The role of experts is vital to the security and efficiency of international trade. They perform functions that directly impact tax collection, national security, and the smooth flow of import and export operations.

Preparation for the Selection Process: Essential Tips

Given the high competitiveness, it is essential for candidates to prepare in advance:

  1. Organize diplomas and certificates;
  2. Prove professional experience;
  3. Update knowledge through specialized courses;
  4. Study customs regulations and standards;
  5. Respect deadlines and requirements of the announcement.

Professional Prospects for the Accredited

The accreditation opens doors for professional development, providing opportunities for networking, recognition, and continuous learning.

However, it also requires commitment, constant updating, and the ability to handle significant responsibilities.

The Federal Revenue Service seeks, with this selection process, to reinforce its cadre of specialized experts, contributing to a more efficient, safe, and competitive customs system.

Obrigado.
