With a 1.3 Turbo Engine, Premium Finish, and Google System, the New Renault Boreal Arrives in 2025 to Be the Most Sophisticated SUV Ever Made by the Brand in the Country and Compete with Jeep Compass and Toyota Corolla Cross.
The New Renault Boreal has finally been revealed and represents a new and ambitious chapter for the French brand in Brazil. Positioned above the Duster and Kardian, the new mid-size SUV from Renault was developed and will be produced in the country, inaugurating a level of sophistication, design, and technology never before seen in a national car from the automaker.
According to the first prototype evaluations, the Boreal arrives to compete in the hottest segment of the market. It targets heavyweight competitors such as the Jeep Compass, Toyota Corolla Cross, and even hybrid models like the GWM Haval H6 and BYD Song Pro.

The big news is the transmission. The CVT is out, and a modern automated dual-clutch transmission with six speeds is in, oil bath, the same that equips the Kardian. The traction will always be front-wheel drive.
Design and Dimensions: Larger Than Rivals

Inside, the New Renault Boreal impresses with its finish and technology. The dashboard adopts the OpenR concept, with two integrated 10-inch screens: one for the instrument panel and another for the multimedia center.
The major differentiator is the native Google system. This means the car comes equipped with Google Maps, voice assistant, and the Play Store app store, without the need to mirror a phone. The equipment list also includes premium sound from Harman Kardon, a panoramic sunroof, electronically adjustable seats, and ambient lighting with 48 colors.
