After three years of absence, Volkswagen announces the resurrection of one of its most iconic car models, the Gol. The automaker is working on the A0 SUV project or VW246, which promises to bring a new version of the classic popular car to the automotive market, according to the website TV O Foco.
Although the launch is scheduled only for 2025, Volkswagen is already moving forward with the project. Prototypes of the model are being prepared, with the production of the first units with final bodywork already underway.

The production of the Gol car is expected to take place in Taubaté, São Paulo, with an estimated investment of R$ 1 billion. The car is expected to be revealed later this year, with a launch anticipated in the first quarter of 2025.
