Aiko Solar Unveils the World’s Most Powerful Solar Panel with Efficiency Exceeding 21%. The Aiko Solar Panel Tops the Ranking of the Most Efficient and the Company Breaks Its Own Record.
Aiko Solar has presented the world’s first commercial solar panel that surpassed an efficiency of 23%. With a conversion rate of 23.6%, the Aiko Solar panel outperformed Longi and Maxeon equipment in the monthly ranking compiled by the Taiyang News platform.
World’s Most Efficient Solar Panel Holds First Place in the Ranking
The efficiency of a solar panel represents its potential to convert sunlight into electricity per square meter. In this case, this means that of the total light captured by the product, 23.6% will be converted into electricity for consumption. The ranking lists all solar panels sold with efficiency starting from 21.5%.
The most efficient solar panels from each manufacturer are included by technology. Thus, if a company has two PERC products above 21%, only one of them is listed. However, if the company offers one PERC module and another TOPCon, both are included in the ranking.

In addition to the world’s most efficient solar panel, another new product introduced in the list was the launch of the TOPCon module by TW Solar (Tongwei), which until then only worked with PERC technology. Canadian Solar was the only company to have three products in the ranking, corresponding to PERC, HJT, and TOPCon technologies.
Besides holding the record for the world’s most powerful solar panel, Aiko Solar recently broke its own record and introduced the world’s most powerful solar panel with an efficiency of 24%, the highest conversion rate recorded in photovoltaic equipment available for sale, according to a survey by the Taiyang News platform.

The world’s most efficient solar panel features Aiko Solar’s proprietary ABC solar cell technology and represents a temperature coefficient of -0.26% per °C.
According to Aiko Solar officials, the main advantages of the technology are the fully illuminated solar cell area, back electrodes, fully passive rear contacts, and silver-free metallization.
The Aiko Solar panel was launched at the SNEC PV Power Expo, an international solar energy sector fair held in Shanghai, China, featuring a power of 620 W. Throughout the event, several manufacturers introduced new versions of photovoltaic modules, causing changes in the ranking of the most efficient solar panels.
Versions of the World’s Most Powerful Solar Panel
The Aiko Solar panel is sold in various models such as the AIKO-A-MAH72Mw in five versions with power ranging from 600W to 620W and efficiency ranging from 23.2% to 24.0%. The open-circuit voltage is between 53.94 V and 54.34 V and the short-circuit current is between 13.44 A and 13.76 A. The dimensions are 2,278 mm x 1,134 mm x 35 mm and a weight of 28.2 kg.
The AIKO-A-MAH54Mw solar module is offered in four versions with power of 450 W and 465 W and efficiency of 23.0% and 23.8%. The open-circuit voltage is between 40.50 V and 40.80 V and the short-circuit current is between 13.44 A and 13.7 A. This model measures 1,722 mm x 1,134 mm x 30 mm and has a weight of 20.5 kg.
