The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure 2025 has been officially revealed in Europe, bringing innovations that promise to revolutionize the adventure motorcycle segment. With a 145 horsepower engine and a 30-liter fuel tank, this machine is ready to face any challenge. In addition, BMW has introduced a new automated transmission system, further elevating the level of comfort and practicality for riders.

The starting price of the R 1300 GS Adventure 2025 is €24,050, approximately R$ 142 thousand in direct conversion. Although the arrival date in Brazil has not yet been announced, it is certain to replace the R 1250 GS Adventure, a model already quite popular among two-wheel enthusiasts. In the Brazilian market, the R 1300 GS version is offered starting at R$ 99,900, according to Motoo.

Automatic Transmission: Technology And Comfort

One of the major innovations of the R 1300 GS Adventure is the “Automated Shift Assistant” (ASA), a system that automates the clutch using two electromechanical actuators. This means there’s no need to use the clutch lever to shift gears. For those who prefer a more traditional control, the shift pedal is retained and can be used in M mode, functioning as a quickshifter. In D mode, gear changes are completely automatic. This technology will also be available as an option for the R 1300 GS in 2025.

The R 1300 GS Adventure is equipped with the most powerful 1,300 cc twin-cylinder boxer engine in BMW’s history, delivering an impressive 145 horsepower. In addition to the new engine, the motorcycle features a redesigned chassis and improved suspensions with EVO Telelever technology in the front and EVO Paralever in the rear. The dampers have the Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA) system, allowing dynamic adjustments of the springs and adaptable height control, ideal for adjusting the motorcycle according to terrain conditions.

Top-Notch Comfort And Safety

For adventurers, the R 1300 GS Adventure offers four riding modes, including the Enduro option, and a radar system that enables dynamic cruise control with emergency braking. Thus, the complete digital dashboard, with advanced connectivity, provides a modern and practical experience. The FULL LED lighting, including the “X” Matrix headlight and additional lights, ensures visibility and safety even in the most challenging conditions.

Available in four versions in Europe – Standard, Triple Black, GS Trophy, and Option 719 Karakorum – the “Queen of the GSs” is equipped with 19-inch spoked wheels in the front and 17-inch in the rear, ready to tackle any type of terrain.
