The Project Implemented by the NGO Junior Achievement Fosters the Professional Development of Young People with the “Learning by Doing” Method Through the Partnership Between the Public, Private, and Third Sectors
In 2019, the Entrepreneurial Pathway Brought Eight Entrepreneurship, Job Preparation, and Financial Education Programs to Students from 24 Innovative High Schools in Ten Municipalities in the State of Rio, Contributing to a More Competent and Engaged Formation of Young People. This is a Project by the NGO Junior Achievement (JA), in Partnership with the State Department of Education (SEEDUC), and Eighteen Companies from the Oil and Gas Sector Associated with the Brazilian Institute of Oil, Gas, and Biofuels (IBP), such as Baker Hughes, Petrobras, Subsea7, Shell, Ipiranga, among others. The Pathway Consists of Implementing a Sequence of JA Programs that Provides Students with the Opportunity to Develop Skills and Competencies Essential to Face Today’s Challenges and a Job Market in Constant Change.
