Nuclear Energy Production Chain Will Be Represented and Will Be One of the Highlight Cases
Between September 26 and 29, Rio de Janeiro will once again host a global agenda of events in the oil and gas sector. The Rio Oil & Gas Fair will take place at the Boulevard Olímpico, and Sebrae Rio will have a space called Polo Sebrae Offshore, with 20 service points, where micro and small businesses can present goods, services, and equipment to the main players in the oil and gas sector.
Partners of Sebrae, the ABDAN (Brazilian Association for the Development of Nuclear Activities) and Eletronuclear, will also be present, representing the energy and nuclear activities sector. Currently, the country has the 7th largest uranium reserve in the world and has indicated the construction of 8 to 10 new plants by 2050. “We at ABDAN represent the companies in the productive chains that use nuclear technology, we work to strengthen the business environment and the conditions of competitiveness in the domestic market and internationally. Therefore, participation in the event is of utmost importance for us to promote the development and application of nuclear technology in Brazil,” comments Celso Cunha, president of ABDAN.

Sebrae will also promote the Demoday, followed by an Investment Round. In the first activity, entrepreneurs will present their technological solutions or products, in pitch format, to investors and large companies in the sector. Subsequently, startups will have the opportunity to speak with investors individually, with the aim of raising funds or financing for the development of micro and small businesses.
