The French multinational TotalEnergies will be participating for the 5th time in the Rio Oil & Gas event. The company sets long-term goals, and in this edition, it sees a new opportunity to boost its work in the global market. Over the years, it has been working tirelessly in the fields of renewable energy, oil and natural gas, as well as biofuels, green gas, and electricity.

For those attending the event, make sure to visit the company’s booth. TotalEnergies will have a 130 square meter booth located in Warehouse 4. Throughout the 4 days of the event, the company will showcase its operations in Brazil through interactive means, demonstrating its importance to our country, both in sustainable terms and in creating jobs for the population.

“TotalEnergies is a global multi-energy company, and Rio Oil & Gas is a strategic event because the energy transition is one of its main themes. Additionally, it is a highly relevant space for generating business, exchanging knowledge, and strengthening ties with industry entities, stakeholders, and society,” says Charles Fernandes, General Director of TotalEnergies EP Brazil and Country Chair of TotalEnergies in Brazil.

How Will TotalEnergies Participate in the Rio Oil & Gas Event? What Are Its Goals and New Projects?

During the days of the Rio Oil & Gas event, the multinational will promote a total of 16 lectures about projects that are in development in Brazil.

Therefore, for those who love to learn about the workings of a large company, the central topics will be: the projects, the safety present in operations, the initiatives for decarbonizing oil and gas operations, the positioning of natural gas as the fuel of transition, and how TotalEnergies is seeking to invest in low-emission, low-cost assets in the country.

However, besides the technical aspects, there will also be initiatives aimed at inclusion, diversity, and how professionals need to be prepared for the significant changes that will occur in the industrial sector with ongoing transitions.

On the first day of Rio Oil & Gas, September 26, at 2:30 PM, the CEO Talks session will take place, featuring Nicolas Terraz, President of Exploration and Production of the company. This experience may help attendees address their biggest questions about the sector or how a company operates, as there will be representatives from other companies that drive the sector present in the plenary session.

TotalEnergies and Its Mission for 2050

With the ongoing advances in pollution and gas emissions around the world from giant companies, the world is watching to see what the next plans will be to change this scenario.

Since then, TotalEnergies has been working tirelessly to reach its goal of becoming a carbon-neutral company by 2050. To make this possible, the company is investing in electricity and renewable energy assets in various countries, including Brazil.

In the next 5 years, TotalEnergies aims to invest approximately US$ 1 billion annually in its projects located in Brazil. This way, its goal of helping to improve the planet through sustainable practices can be achieved.
