RodOil’s Operations Are Growing! The Company Announced It Will Build Its Second Distribution Center in Minas Gerais. This Time, the Chosen City Was Betim.
RodOil announces the installation of a new distribution center, taking another step towards the company’s expansion. The chosen city was Betim, in Minas Gerais, being the second unit in the state, as the first is located in Uberlândia. Operations are growing and the necessary investment has been calculated to meet the high demand.
Investments in the New Unit are Expected to Reach R$ 10 Million in 2023, According to the Company President
RodOil is a Minas Gerais company with national reach.
This has placed it fifth in the ranking of the largest distributors in the country in terms of the number of gas stations, demonstrating a high potential — which continues to grow, as indicated by the construction of a new distribution center.

The plans for the new unit are that it will be responsible for distributing around 1,500 cubic meters, initially.
There is still no fixed date for the start of the implementation of RodOil’s new distribution center, but it is expected to happen in the coming weeks, still in early 2023.
Regarding the new year, RodOil is prepared to invest heavily in the unit so it can meet the required demand.
According to Roberto Tonietto, the company president, the initial budget available is R$ 10 million and should make it well-prepared, similar to the existing unit in Uberlândia.
Betim was chosen, in fact, to improve the company’s performance in the state where it was founded. Minas Gerais has great influence in the market, as Tonietto emphasizes in his statement: “This new operation will allow us to expand our activities and provide more agility in delivery within Minas Gerais, this large and important Brazilian market. We intend to continue our expansion in 2023, enhancing services in the states we operate in and conquering new areas.”
In addition to the benefits for the company itself and the consumer community, it is also worth highlighting that the installation of a new distribution center contributes to the generation of new jobs.
The estimate is that more than 100 positions will be offered, including direct and indirect opportunities.
RodOil Does Not Plan to Expand to New States Immediately After the Installation of the New Distribution Center. The Team Remains Alert to New Opportunities Nonetheless
The new distribution center of RodOil in Betim is already a significant step for the company’s expansion at this time.
For now, thinking about new paths for growth, both in Minas Gerais and in other states, is still something off the radar, as the company president states.
Currently, the company serves seven states: Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Goiás, and Mato Grosso.
Despite not planning any other grand moves soon, Tonietto commented on how he is always observing market trends and needs, especially regarding interest rate movements, a decisive factor for their business.
However, for 2023, RodOil’s focus on investments remains on the distribution center in Betim. For operations to gain strength within the company, it is necessary to make a significant investment to make it competitive with others. In Minas Gerais, one of Brazil’s most competitive markets, standing out means high revenue, something essential for the company.
