Sounds like a fantastic idea from Elon Musk, doesn’t it? After all, who wouldn’t want a phone that doesn’t need a carrier signal? However, so far, none of this is more than speculation.
Where Did The Rumor Come From?
This is not the first time we have heard about the alleged Tesla smartphone. Since 2022, Elon Musk’s name has been associated with disruptive technology projects, which always fuels the imagination of fans and curious onlookers. However, the rumors gained momentum in early December 2024, when social media posts began to assert that the launch of the Tesla Phone would be imminent.
It is worth noting that Elon Musk has repeatedly denied the rumors. In a post on Twitter, he made it clear that he would only consider entering the smartphone market if apps like Twitter were removed from Apple and Google app stores, which has not happened.
