RWE has secured two contracts in France for an 11 MW onshore wind project and a 4 MW solar park. The contracts were announced as part of the latest technologically neutral tender for hydropower, wind, and photovoltaic projects by the French CRE (Regulatory Commission for Energy). The solar park is located in the French department of Charente-Maritime and covers an area of four hectares. The onshore wind project with three turbines will be located in the department of Loire-Atlantique. RWE is currently the third most awarded company in the 13 French onshore wind tenders held by the CRE and has won all recent onshore tenders it participated in.
