Therefore, 110.00 and 100.00 are the maximum scores received for Researcher in classification fields I, II, and III and Analyst, Assistant, and Technician, respectively. This does not compromise the impartiality of the recruitment process.
- Date of the objective test: March 23, 2025.

According to the Embrapa notice, each objective test consists of items grouped into specific commands that must be strictly followed. The items are evaluated based on the CERTAIN or WRONG criteria, according to the corresponding commands.
On the answer sheet, the candidate will find two marking fields for each item:
- C: Must be filled if the item is considered CERTAIN.
- E: Must be filled if the item is considered WRONG.
Subjective Test
The subjective test will be worth 20.00 points and will consist of writing a discursive text of up to 30 lines on topics related to current affairs within the context of Embrapa’s work.
- Date of the subjective test: March 23, 2025.
Defense of the Resume and Presentation of Research Project
For each option (position/area/subarea), candidates approved in the subjective test for the position of Researcher will be summoned for the defense of their resume and presentation of their research project.
Evaluations will sum up to a total of 10.00 points, assessing the candidate’s performance before the examination committee regarding their professional contributions and completed projects.
Defense of the Resume
In the resume, it is crucial to present the relevant contributions of the candidate in their area or subarea. This involves tracking the correct fundamental guidance or various theoretical assumptions, which should be highlighted as valid, what results are legitimate, and to what extent the formulation is multifunctional to promote advances in the scope of knowledge and practices in the area.
The candidate will have 20 minutes in total; at least 10 minutes must be dedicated to presenting their own thoughts and experiences. The remaining 10 minutes are dedicated to queries from the committee, which should be heard as a serious and constructive attempt to discuss what was said in the presentation.
Presentation of the Research Project
The project is presented in a public session immediately after the defense of the resume. Candidates from the same option (position/area/subarea) will not be able to attend the session.
Practical Test
The practical test of the Embrapa competition will have a weight of 10.00 and will consist of simulating a situation-problem related to the activities of the position, area, or subarea in which the candidate is competing.
As stated in the Embrapa notice, in this simulation, the technical mastery of the summoned will be considered, the projected interaction, the use of equipment, and the organization and description of the results of the situation-problem.
- Duration: A maximum of 15 minutes per candidate.
- A minimum score of 5.00 points is required for approval.
Evaluation of Titles
The evaluation of titles for the Researcher position will be restricted to candidates approved in the subjective test. The maximum score for the evaluation of titles is 10 points, even if the total number of titles presented exceeds this value. Check the point distribution:
