Santander Has Thousands of Openings in Free Online Courses (EAD) with Certificates. The Courses Offer Various Options in Technology and Programming Languages.
Santander Becas announced the opening of registrations for the second edition of the Santander Coders program, which offers 50,000 openings in free online courses with certificates. The training focuses on the introduction of technologies and different programming languages.
In this edition of the free online and EAD courses program, scholarships are offered for Back-End, Front-End, Data Science, and Data Engineering.

Those who wish to participate must be over 18 years old and have an interest or already be working with technology. In the program, the student will learn everything and there is no need to be enrolled in a university.

Registrations for the online courses with certificates are free and must be made by October 16, 2023, through the Santander Scholarships website.
After registration, the selected individuals will receive an email from the Santander Scholarships platform to accept the scholarship for the introductory courses. Then, they will be contacted via email by Ada Tech with the access release.
The selection process will take place between October 17 and 20. Participants must accept the scholarships by October 31 of the same month.
The first test, which will be conducted at the time of registration within the Santander Scholarships, will have 5 multiple-choice questions with only 1 correct answer. The participant will have 1 chance to answer, meaning they cannot return to a previous question if they want to change their final answer; thus, the first attempt will be considered.
The 50,000 selected will be able to check the status of their own invitation on the bolsas-santander.com website with their login and password.
Details about the Classes of Free Online Courses with Certificates Santander
The introduction classes of the free online courses with certificates have an asynchronous track, followed by a logic test with group dynamics and the Coding Tank, which is a reinforcement on programming logic. The 300 students with the best performance will be able to receive a full scholarship for the free online and EAD courses in one of the four programming languages, which will be chosen by the participants themselves.
All participants who watch at least 80% of the recorded classes available in the online course will automatically qualify for the next phase of the selection process.
For this group, the free online courses with certificates will be conducted remotely on the Ada platform, which provides a detailed view of performance in technical and behavioral competencies for each student, assessing each participant throughout the content modules and tracking the quality indices at each stage.
